Golf Team Unbeaten Once Again

For the second year in a row, Cameron County posted a perfect 8-0 record in winning the Penn-York Girls' Golf League championship.

The Raiders closed out their season with a 36-18 win at Coudersport Wednesday afternoon. Jordan Thompson took medalist honors with 54 in the match. Brittany Lundberg tied Coudersport's Lindsey Francis for the second spot with a 57. Whitney Lewis, Kaylee Harford and Bethany Dunsmore followed close behind with 61, 62, and 63, respectively.

"The girls deserve a lot of credit for playing as a team in what is often considered an individual sport," Raider coach Pat Lewis said. "Whenever one of our golfers would have an off day someone else would pick it up and play well."

"It is quite and accomplishment to put

together back to back undefeated seasons," Lewis added. "There are some young, talented golfers in the Penn- York League that will test us next year."
