This week it was very rainy. By Thursday it really cleared up and became sunny. Monday was Lakins birthday, so we celebrated it by having cupcakes, cake, chips and pop. The kids enjoyed it. They have been having a great time lately playing teatherball. It seems like that is all they play any more. The boys have been going over to South Park to play baseball with the kids over there. Pretty soon, I think we might have a kickball tournament. We made turtle rattle today for craft day. It turned out really good.

This week at the West End playground was really fun. Instead of playing dodgeball everyday for the full 3 hours, they changed up their routine and played tennisball, kickball, and trap. On the days that were rainy we just stayed underneath the pavilion and played card games. When the playground was over, Trae Smith, Adam and Kendyl Shaffer, Bryan Becker and Zachary Becker had ice and water fights. This weeks craft was picture frames and they turned out amazing!

Josh Borden was the Sorry champ for this week. Josh also helped his team win at kickball, both offense and defense. Scott Reed also stepped up his game by catching almost every ball that came his way in kickball. Cameron County's Senior Little League team defeated DuBois Wednesday night to capture the District 10 Championship. The team returns to action in regional play at home today (Saturday) at 2:30.
