'Birds 'N Brunch' Sunday

A Birds n' Brunch Pontoon Boat Excursion will take place Sunday, Aug. 6 at Sinnemahoning State Park. Join the park naturalists for a morning bird watching pontoon boat excursion.

Enjoy a light brunch on the boat, complete with tablecloths and music, as we cruise along the shores and wetland areas of the George B. Stevenson dam. We'll search the shoreline for herons, mergansers, kingfishers, and other birds that frequent the area. The excursion will conclude with a look at the park's resident bald eagles nest site, and hopefully, a glimpse of these magnificent birds. Bring you camera! Binoculars and field guides will be provided. Cost is $12 per person, which includes a brunch provided by Pizza Palace Plus of Emporium.
