The repair of damage caused by hurricane Ivan on the Montour Road in Cameron County is complete. An area 85 feet by 65 feet by 7 feet deep washed out by the storm was rebuilt with 1,340 tons of limestone rip rap and 1400 tons of limestone fill and road surface material. The work was completed by C.S. Edwards Inc, of Orangeville for the low bid price of $95,439. Funding for the project was obtained by application to the Federal Emergency Management Agency's funding for emergency assistance. For further information, call the Elk State Forest at 814486-3353.
