Fredrick Moore

Fredrick J. Moore, 77, of Austin, died Saturday (Aug. 5, 2006).

Born Dec. 24, 1929, in Snow Shoe, he was a son of Carl A. Moore and the former Bessie O. Hauser of Lock Haven. On Dec. 19, 1949 he married Beverly Orndorf, who survives.

He was retired from Max Greeley and Sons, Coudersport.

Mr. Moore enjoyed fishing, gardening and carving and was a member of the Allegheny Mountain Carvers.

Surviving are three children, Donna L. Baumen and Darlene M. Rees of Austin and Maurice F. Moore of Orchard Park, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two sisters, Margaret Moore of Cary, N.C., and Eunice Moore of Fernandina Beach, Fl.

He was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Jodi, Stacie and Graydon Bauman; two brothers, Gilbert Moore and Walter Moore; and three sisters, Almeda Kerstedlter, Dorthy Van Horn and Melissa Winkleman.
