Bible School 'Treasure Seekers' Well Attended

These children shown here participated in the Austin United Methodist Charge's Bible School held recently.

The churches of the Austin United Methodist Charge (Austin, Costello and Keating Summit) held Vacation Bible School during the week of 8/ 7 where they enjoyed the theme of Treasure Seekers!

Forty-two students aged preschool through 5th grade attended and their evening consisted of a lesson, songs, crafts, recreation and snacks.

During the week, students brought various items and made cards that could be sent to our local soldier Zack Lamer who is serving in Iraq. On Sunday morning the box of "goodies" was presented to his mother and nephew so that the items could be shipped to him.
