Sheriff Al Neyman fingerprints five-year-old Ryan Chilcote on his first day of kindergarten Monday. Cameron County students are routinely fingerprinted by local law enforcement officials as they enter kindergarten. The information is then presented to their parents and can later be used to find or identify a child in the event of emergencies.
