Robert J. Neff

Robert J. Neff, 44, of West Fifth Street, Emporium, died Wednesday, August 30, 2006, in his home.

Born September 19, 1961 in Whidbey Island, Washington, he was the son of Matthew and Janet Ann Haynes Neff. On March 12, 1999 in Emporium he married Elizabeth J. (Betty) Guido who survives.

He was a graduate of Kitsap High School in Kitsap, Washington.

Mr. Neff was fifth generation military and was retired from the United States Air Force where he served as a Medical Laboratory Specialist.

When he retired in 2000, he became a resident of Emporium where he was a member of St. Mark Church and American Legion Post 6221.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Elizabeth (Betty), are: his mother, Janet Neff of Poulsbo, Washington; a step-daughter, Deborah Whiting Glover of Emporium; three grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Smalley of Bremerton, Washington and Leesa Neff of Poulsbo, Washington; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Neff was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Neff.

Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 2, in the Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home, Emporium, with Fr. Paul Siebert, pastor of St. Mark Church officiating.

Military Honors were accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.
