Dora Colosimo Dora E. Colosimo, 80, of Bradford, formerly of Smethport, died Sunday (Aug. 27, 2006) in the Bradford Manor, Bradford. She was born Oct. 13, 1925, in Bradford, a daughter of James and Dessie Yale McCracken. On Jan. 5, 1948, in Emporium, she married Frank R. "Cheech" Colosimo, who died March 18, 1999. Mrs. Colosimo was a graduate of Houston Township High School in Penfield and graduated from Maison Frederick School of Beauty as a beautician. She owned and operated Elite Beauty Salon in Smethport from 1949 until 1999, when she retired. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Smethport and its choir and Bell Choir for many years. She was also a member of the Farmers Valley Garden Club. She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Donald) Blinn of Allegany, N.Y.; one grandson; one granddaughter; three greatgranddaughters; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Lanny R. Colosimo on June 1, 1977; three brothers; and three sisters. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Hartle- Tarbox Funeral Homes Inc., Smethport, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Pete Graham officiating. Committal was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.
