Dual Honors For Gassett

Scott Gassett of Fresno, Calif., the son of Barbara Brown Gassett and the late Russell Gassett, has earned recent academic honors at San Joaquin Delta.

Gassett was named to the Dean's List for the spring semester, then was named to the President's List for the summer semester. The latter honor is reserved only students who post a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

He is the grandson of Carolyn R. Brown of Brookville, formerly of Emporium, and the nephew of Bruce and Lisa Brown of Emporium. Scott is in the "Think Big" program, sponsored by Caterpillar, learning to be a diesel mechanic.
