Music Boosters' Craft Sale Set
     The CCHS Music Boosters will hold its annual craft sale at the Cameron County High School on Oct. 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost for crafters is $20 for a table or a 9 ft. space. All money raised will go towards the 2008 Marching Band trip to Disney World.

EVFD Plans Oct. 10 Open House
     An open house scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the Emporium Firehall will mark the annual National Fire Prevention Week. From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., citizens are encouraged to visit the firehall for free hot dogs and soft drinks.
