Lillian Sidelinger

Lillian A. Sidelinger, 84, of Pioneer Road , died ( Sept. 15, 2006) in Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys.

Born Feb. 21, 1922 in Arraya, she was the daughter of Robert George and Alice George Coon. On June 1, 1940 in Dagus mines, she married Robert C. Sidelinger, who died June 16, 1984.

Mrs. Sidelinger was employed as a retail sales clerk by G.C. Murphy Co. in St. Marys. She is survived by: one sister, Elberta Smoker of Emporium; seven grandchildren, Tina Sidelinger Quinn of Tampa, FL, Chris Sidelinger of Cameron, Perry Sidelinger of Tampa, Justin Sidelinger of Orlando, FL, and Robert, David and Michael Sidelinger, all of BelAir, MD; and also great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, parents, and stepfather Arthur M. Coon, Mrs. Sidelinger was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Sidelinger and Clayton Sidelinger; one brother, Oran George, and one sister, Mae Buganza.

There was no visitation. Funeral and Committal Services were held. Monday (Sept. 18) in the Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dwight Simpson, the pastor of Faith Baptist Church of Emporium, officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Cameron County Unit.
