Lady Raider Golfers Cruising The beat goes on for coach Pat Lewis's talented girls' golf team at Cameron County High School. On Monday, the Red Raiders swept visiting teams from Coudersport (33-22) and Bradford (36 1/2 to 18 1/2). With the twin wins, Cameron County improved to 5-0 and has now won 13 straight Penn-York matches, dating back to last year, when the Raiders finished 8-0. Raider Jordan Thompson (50) was medalist in the Bradford match. Also for the hosts, Brittany Lundberg shot a 56, Kaylee Harford 63, Whitney Lewis 66 and Bethany Dunsmore 67. Coudersport's Lindsey Francis (50) was medalist in the CC vs. Coudersport match. Last Thursday, Thompson shot a 50 to claim medalist honors at Bradford, as the Raiders came away with a 38- 16 win. Dunsmore and Lundberg each came in with career-low scores of 52 and 54, respectively. Cameron County returns to action on Monday with a home match against Port Allegany, followed by a trip to Smethport on Tuesday.
