Pizza Time! Calling All Kids

Children 12 and under can demonstrate their pizzamaking skills and win prizes at Smith's Pizza Palace Plus in Emporium on Saturday, Oct. 7, as part of a national competition involving independent pizzerias.

Contestants are challenged to make a kid-sized pie with their favorite ingredients, including olives. The winning pizza pie will be named by its creator and added to the pizzeria's menu.

One winner randomly selected from participating pizzerias will be awarded a visit by a World Pizza Champion Team member to learn some pizza acrobatic tricks.

Registration is now open at Smith's Pizza Palace Plus.
