Ruth Wilson

Ruth E. Wilson, 74, a resident of the MJM Victorian Home, died Saturday afternoon (Sept. 30, 2006) at her residence following an lengthy illness.

She was born June 30, 1932, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Harrison Wilson, who died in 1959 and Lillian Cheatle Wilson, who died in 1988. She was a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Marys Public Schools.

She is survived by a sister, Anna Mae Mertz of St. Marys; two brothers, Richard Wilson, her twin, and his wife Kathy of St. Marys, and Thomas Wilson and his wife Anne of St. Marys; and a sister-in-law, Marjorie Wilson of St. Marys.

Besides her parent, she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Schneider, and a brother, John O. Wilson.

She was a member of St. Mark Church in Emporium.

There will be no visitation.

Memorial mass was celebrated Friday, Oct. 6, in the Sacred Heart Church, St. Marys, with the Rev. Eric Vogt OSB, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the St. Marys Cemetery.
