Prizes will be awarded for the best-decorated bike, scooter or stroller. There will be live music, a bake sale, a 50/50 award and refreshments. Joy the Clown will make an appearance.

The "Pedaling 4 Autism Awareness" event is open to all

ages and will be held rain or shine. Pre-registration at 486- 1792 or 486-3034 is encouraged, but not required.

Autism is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life. It is the result of a neurological disorder affecting social interaction and communication skills.

Autism affects each individual differently and at varying degrees. Specialized intervention programs are being researched and developed to help victims and their families.

The event is sponsored by Northcentral Pa. ABOARD, an autism support group. The organization helps families who have autistic members. It also works to spread awareness of the disease in area communities.
