Paving Project Will Shut Down Roads

A paving project will close the Ridge Road in Portage Township next Monday through Friday. The work area is between Brooks Run and Stillhouse Road.

A detour will increase traffic on Brooks Run and surrounding roads during the construction period, which is subject to change based on weather conditions.

The Pa. Forestry Bureau reports that Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc. of Turtlepoint was contracted to lay limestone driving surface aggregate on the road surface.
