Joseph Noto Joseph P. Noto, 80, 308 E. Third St., Emporium, died at his residence Sunday afternoon. He was born March 25, 1926 in Emporium, a son of the late Onofrio and Angeline Baldo Noto. He married Donna Moffitt Noto, who survives. He was married over 45 years. He graduated from Emporium High School and from DuBois Business College where he received a accounting degree. He retired from Sylvania where he worked for many years in the accounting department. He served, in Italy as a Technical Sgt., with the US Army during WWII. He was a member of the St. Mark Catholic Church where he served as an usher for many years. He was a member of the VFW Miller-Raffaele Post 6221, where he was a member over 58 years and also a member of the Olkosky-Jessop Post 194, Emporium. In addition to Donna Moffitt Noto, surviving are his three sons, Jason P. Noto of Erie; Michael Blinzlar of Ohio; Mike Raffaele of Emporium; four grandchildren, Joseph, Mikayla, Anthony and Olivia; one sister, Pauline O'Hern of Emporium; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Noto was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Susie DeMark. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church. A Military Service was accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail. Burial was in the St. Mark Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association. |
