Attends Training

Emergency Medical Technician Adam Johnson recently attended a Hazardous Materials Training and Education Program at Harrisburg Area Community College.

Cameron County Local Emergency Planning Committee awarded Johnson its annual scholarship to attend the seminar, based on his essay outlining the challenges of rural volunteers in their quest for emergency services training.

Johnson is operations chief for the Cameron County Incident Response Team, assistant chief of the Emporium Volunteer Fire Dept. and an active EMT with Cameron County Ambulance.
