JV Raiders Top Hubbers

Cameron County closes out the junior varsity football season on Monday night at Coudersport's CARP Field. The rematch with the Falcons, who topped the Raiders earlier this month, kicks off at 6:00.

Coach Brian Lovett's squad (2-2) has come on strong since the Coudersport game. The Red Raiders are coming off a dominating performance last Monday against Smethport. Final score was 28-0.

Dan Sullivan intercepted three Hubber passes - returning one of them 44 yards for a touchdown - and Randy Schatz recorded 11 tackles to help preserve the shutout.

Offensively, Charlie Holjencin had a 31-yard touchdown run and pulled in a 49-yard TD pass from Jarek Holjencin. Mike Baker, who rushed for 88 yards, had a four-yard touchdown run and carried for a two-point conversion.
