Following the death of a loved one, many find the journey through grief to be very difficult, especially around the holidays.
Joanne Straub, MSW, Community Nurses Social Worker, will present a Holiday Grief Workshop on Thursday, November 2 at 6:00 p.m. at the Community Nurses St. Marys office on the campus of Elk Regional Health Center, on Wednesday, November 15 at 1 p.m. at Central Towers on Greeves Street in Kane, and on Thursday, November 16 at 6:00 p.m. at the Community Nurses Bradford office at 15 Main Street.
The workshop will offer effective strategies for coping with loss and caring for yourself during the coming holiday season. Participants can also enjoy complementary therapies such as massage, therapeutic touch and labyrinth walking to help nourish their mind, body and soul.
The holiday bereavement workshop is a free service of the Community Nurses Hospice Program. For more information contact Straub at 781-1415.
