4th Graders 'Making A Difference'

Emporium once again has a strong connection to today's national observance of "Make A Difference Day."

Fourth-graders at Woodland Elementary School are launching a canned goods drive to benefit the underprivileged. They'll collect the items for local food pantries today through next Friday. Teachers at Woodland are incorporating the community service project into the school's social studies curriculum.
