Breann Harstad

Breann Alyssia Harstad, 19, of Austin, formerly of Pequea, died Friday (Oct. 20, 2006).

Born on Nov. 20, 1986, in Lancaster, she was a daughter of Chris and Jean Haberstroh Harstad.

She attended Penn Manor High School in Millersville. She was employed at the J.C. Penney store in Coudersport.

Surviving are her mother, Jean Harstad of Austin; her daughter, Fallon Jade of Austin; her brother, Ken Witmer of Pequea; her sister, Kelly Jean Witmer of Pequea; her maternal grandmother, Ruth Jacobs of Austin, and grandfather, Joseph Sherlock of York; paternal grandparents, Claire and Charlene Harstad of Lancaster; paternal greatgrandmothers, Helen Harstad of Arlington, Wash., and Mildred Mason of Clackamas, Ore.; three aunts and many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chris Harstad, who died in 1999; two brothers and her maternal grandfather.

Services were held Wednesday with Rev. John Baney, pastor, officiating.

Memorials in her memory may be made to a fund to a fund being established at Northwest Savings Bank.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fickinger Funeral Home.
