Local Girls Finish 2-12

Cameron County closed out the varsity volleyball season with a 2-12 record.

It was a rebuilding campaign for Coach Amy Schwab's squad, sure to pay dividends in the future.

In Thursday's season finale, Port Allegany rallied from a 27-24 loss in the opener to sweep the next three games from the Raiders. Karen Kesterholt had 13 kills and four blocks for CCHS. Jessica Ellenberger had four digs and three kills. Lauren Cook served for 12 points.

On Tuesday, Northern Potter swept the Raiders in three games. Julia Glosek had 18 digs and two kills. Brandy Lyon had two aces and six digs. Ellenberger added four digs.
