All eyes were on Cameron County High School Field Saturday, as Emporium hosted the Central Pa. Youth Football League finals. In the opener, the Cameron County Storm (above) fell to the Johnsonburg Shamrocks, 24-12, in the league championship game for JV teams. St. Marys and Ridgway met in the varsity nitecap. Cameron County cut into an 18-0 lead with Nate Andrus's 30-yard touchdown run, but Johnsonburg answered with a TD on the ensuigh kickoff return. Cameron Horning's 56-yard run set up the Storm's last TD. The team finished with a 6-2 record.
