 | | Austin first-graders held "Pumpkin Day" to celebrate successful completion of their fall unit. Students painted a pumpkin mural for the hallway and wrote sentences about the different ways pumpkins can be used. Each student received a pumpkin and a lesson about the hundreds of seeds inside it. They then enjoyed snacks made from pumpkins. |
