Janice Fragale

Janice E. Fragale, 68, formerly of: 314 Hickory Street, Emporium, died at Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Tuesday, (Nov. 7, 2006).

She was born June 21, 1938 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Ralph and Ruth Jones Strait.

On February 7, 1959 in St. Mark Catholic Church, she married the late James J. Fragale.

Mrs. Fragale graduated from Cameron County High School in the class of 1956. She was a member of the St. Mark Catholic Church.

Surviving are: daughters, Lisa (Mrs. Timothy) Reynolds and Leslie (Mrs. Paul Plant) both of Emporium; sons: James E. Fragale and Joseph M. Fragale of Emporium and 7 grandchildren.

Mrs. Fragale was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Ruth Jones Strait; husband, James J. Fragale who died June 20, 2003; two Brothers, James and Jon Strait and a sister, Clare "Jeanie" Johnson.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, as Celebrant.

Burial was in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Shippen Township.
