 | | Five area residents had a chance last Friday to toss a fowl during the "Turkey Bowling" competition at Olivett's ShurFine in Emporium. The event was sponsored by Radio Stations WLEM-WQAY. First place winner Anne Caskey shows the form she used to spill the "pins" with a frozen turkey. As first-place winner, she earned a cart full of items for a Thanksgiving meal. Other participants won a turkey and a cube of soft drinks. WLEM's Gary Mitchell, who was doing a live broadcast of the event is pictured behind the bowler. |
