Share the harvest

Successful deer hunters are encouraged by the Pa. Game Commission to participate in the state's Hunters Sharing the Harvest (HSH) program.

HSH channels donations of venison to food banks, soup kitchens and needy families.

Hunters take a deer to a participating meat processor and identify how much of the meat is to be donated. HSH provides a toll-free telephone number, 1-866-474-2141, for questions about participating meat processors and general inquiries.
