State police probe arson
     State police from Denton Hill are probing an arson in Bingham Township Monday between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Someone poured an ignitable fluid on the wooden floor at an abandoned house owned by Arlie Holbert of Genesee, set fire to it and left. Damage was confined to the floor.

     Help for meals program The Potter County Area Agency on Aging is asking for public support its Holiday Meals Program. The organization provides about 270 nutritious meals a week to homebound seniors who are unable to cook for themselves.
