Firefighting training set in Coudersport

Couderport Volunteer Fire Company is hosting firefighting training sessions at the firehall on Rt. 6 (Port Allegany Road).

Schedule is as follows:

Ventilation Class: Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 16- 17, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a 16-hour course. Each department is asked to bring its own rescue truck with airpacks (not required, but helpful). Lunch will be provided. Registration deadline is Wednesday, Dec. 13, by calling 274-8900.

Structural Burn: Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 6-7. A live

burn session will be conducted at Whispering Pine Lodge on North Hollow Road. The 16- hour course runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Any department that can bring apparatus should contact Bruce Setzer at 274-9759 or 642- 2552. Ext. 251.

Lunch will be provided. Registration is required at 274- 8900 by Wednesday, Jan. 3.
