An SUV occupied by seven people crossed the center line and collided
with a tractor-trailer Thursday afternoon on Rich Valley Road. Willie Sherwood of Roulette was eastbound when he lost control of the vehicle on a right curve. Sherwood, along with passengers Jessica Seeley of Gaines, Billy Joe Woods of Roulette and four unidentified juveniles, were all treated at Elk Regional Health Center for what police described as moderate injuries. Rig driver Dorman Moore of Emporium was uninjured. Charges are pending.
