Elvera Krizmanich Elvera Louise “Eva” Krizmanich, 86, of Midway, Ga. formerly of Byrnedale, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah, Ga. after a short illness. Born Jan. 18, 1920 in Byrnedale, she was the daughter of Peter and Josephine (Milicia) Micale. She married Anthony Krizmanich in 1940. Mrs. Krinmanich was a graduate of Weedville High School. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force, Rosary Altar Society, and Bennetts Valley American Legion Post 978 Auxiliary. She volunteered at Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Marys. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Cantoni of Midway, Ga.; Kathy Strycula of Emporium; three grandchildren, Tina Eberlein, Midway, Ga.; Brian Scott, Erie; Jeff Scott, Las Vegas, Nev.; and two greatgrandchildren, Nicole Scott and Ryan Scott, Las Vegas, Nev. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; eight brothers, Russell, Joseph, Angelo, Peter, William, Millio, Tillio and Leo; and four sisters, Pauline, Lizzie, Ann and Jennie. A mass of Christian burial was held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force, with Father Thomas Tyler officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorials may be to the St. Joseph Church or the Valley Legion Post 978 Auxiliary. |
