Potter County news briefs Dog license visits Potter County Treasurer Krista Miller will continue her evening travels to several communities next week for the convenience of dog owners. She’ll be selling dog licenses Monday, from 6:00 to 7:00, at the Shinglehouse District Judge’s office; and on Tuesday, from 6:00 to 7:00 at the Ulysses Library, and from 7:30 to 8:30 at Dandy Mini Mart in Harrison Valley. PCVA calendar Potter County Visitors Assn. is assembling its Calendar of Events for 2007. Organizations can propose activities to be added to the calendar by contacting PCVA Executive Director David Brooks by email at potter@penn.com. In addition to a printed calendar on which space is limited, PCVA will also post an expanded calendar on its website. Chamber breakfast Next membership meeting of the Coudersport Area Chamber of Commerce will held held at 8:30 Tuesday, Dec. 19, at the Hotel Crittenden. This will be a Christmas breakfast meeting. Members are encouraged to attend and should make reservations by contacting the Chamber office by Dec. 12. Choir performs Sunday Christmas music with a sacred theme will be in the air on Sunday at the First United Presbyterian Church in Coudersport. The Coudersport Ecumenical Choir will perform its program, “Light and Life,” at 3:00 p.m. A free will donation will be collected to benefit the Coudersport Ministerium Emergency Fund. Singers from 10 area churches will perform. |
