Tourism management class set Penn Highlands Community College will be offering classes in tourism management at locations in Coudersport and St. Marys. Courses are being held in cooperation with the Potter County Education Council and the Community Education Council of Elk and Cameron Counties. Classes will be held in Coudersport or St. Marys, with real-time teleconferencing available between the two sites. The certificate in tourism management is being designed to prepare students for the career opportunities in this region’s growing heritage tourism industry. Students can enroll in individual courses such as Principles of Marketing, Introduction to Accounting, and Introduction to Tourism and Travel. Classes are expected to begin in March.
