Teen group stressing faith at meetings A group of local high school students plan to work together to use Christian teachings to help each cope with worldly issues facing many teenagers today. About a half-dozen Cameron County High School students will be studying Bible passages and other resource material as members of Vox Dei, which is Latin for “voice of God.” Meetings will be held at 7:30 Wednesday mornings in the school. “Many in my generation think satisfaction can come from worldly things,” group leader Alex Davis said. “But there is only one true satisfaction— God.” |
