Cameron board continues ‘super’ search

Members of the Cameron County Area Board of Education continue their search for a new superintendent of schools.

Discussion of the issue was tabled during last week’s school board meeting. Board members said they would deliberate in private during an executive session.

The school board also tabled action on the hiring of athletic coaches for the fall 2007 season.

Coaches proposed for rehiring were head football coach Tony Defilippi and assistants John Barnhart, Steve Zoschg and Brian Lovett; golf coaches Pat Lewis and Tom Glosek; head volleyball coach Amy Schwab and assistant Pam Burt; junior high football coaches John Fragale, Jeremiah Fragale and Jason Sloppy; and junior high volleyball coaches Kathi Osti and Dave Osti.
