Final Pa. Game Commission figures released last week confirmed a smaller bear kill in Cameron and Potter counties than reported in 2005. Coudersport's win streak in girls' basketball was snapped at 20 Wednesday night, as the Falcons traveled to Bradford for a playoff-caliber tune-up against a strong Owls team. Lucy Ann Yahnite, 86, of Somers Point, N. J., formerly of Emporium, died Monday (Feb. 5, 2007) at Meadowview Nursing Home. She was born March 9, 1920 in Driftwood, a daughter of the late John and Mary Farrell Riley. On Jan. 22, 1955 in Austin, she married Michael T. Yahnite. More...
