Thanks for another exciting year!Red Raider boys finish 18-8

Jason Sestina Jason Sestina Fans of the Cameron County boys' basketball team had to be thinking "wait 'til next year" as their Red Raiders fell to Coudersport after a gutsy effort in the District 9 quarterfinals.

Jason Sestina, the only senior on the team, saw only limited floor time due to injury, but the Raider underclassmen came through in a big way.

Junior Jordan Crane was the Northern Tier League scoring champion. Sophomore Daniel Sullivan also established himself as one of the NTL's top players.

Brothers Charles (junior) and Jarek (sophomore) Holjencin also played a critical role for CCHS, while sophomore starter Mike Malizia showed versatility.

Also contributing for the Red Raiders were Donald Catalone, Andrew Kesterholt, Ethan Purcell, Jordan Garrigan, Steve Reed, Jon Lundberg and Pat Hornung. Cameron County posted an overall record of 18-8, including a 11-3 record in the Nortthern Tier League.
