Bicyclists passing through

About 60 bicyclists riding for two charities will pass through Potter County next week on US. Rt. 6 during the six-day Pennsylvania Perimeter Ride Against Cancer (PPRAC).

They'll leave Erie on Monday and ride around the state's perimeter to raise funds for the American Cancer Society and Dream Come True, a fund for seriously ill children, based in Lehigh Valley. PPRAC has earned more than $600,000. The ride concludes in Palmerton.

The cyclists are expected in Coudersport on Tuesday evening. They're scheduled for a 6:00 a.m. breakfast at Fezz's Diner in Sweden Valley before they continue the eastward leg of their journey.

Five support vehicles will accompany the riders carrying supplies. Each cyclist had to raise at least $1,000.
