James Shepard

James F. Shepard, 87, of Millport, died on Friday (November 9, 2007). Funeral services were held the Rev. Fred E. Kemp officiating. Commital services and burial was held in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse. Members of the Potter County Honor Guard accorded military honors. Charlotte Austin

Charlotte A. Austin, 88, of Shinglehouse, died Monday (Nov. 12, 2007). Burial was in the Bell Run Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bell Run Union Church, 904 Taylor Brook Road, Shinglehouse PA 16748, or to the Bell Run Community Club, 216 Chapman Brook Road, Shinglehouse PA 16748.

Dale Saulter

Dale L. Saulter, 46, of Millport, formerly of Coudersport, died Tuesday (November 6, 2007) in Charles Cole Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held with the Rev. Howard R. Burnham, pastor of Hebron Union Church, and the Rev. Daniel P. Grimes, pastor of the Shinglehouse United Methodist Church, officiating. Commital services were held in the Woodland Cemetery, Coudersport.

Audrey Akins

Audrey Jean Akins, 70, of Tannery Heights, died Saturday (Nov. 10, 2007). Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Cameron County Ambulance Service.

Jack Conway

Jack L. Conway, 86, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Monday (Nov. 12, 2007). He was born April 13, 1921, in Emporium.

Visitation and funeral service were held in Florida. A visitation will also be at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th St., Emporium on Monday from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., at which time a Masonic service will take place. A graveside service will be held with the Rev. Gary Atkinson, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Emporium, officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail at the Newton Cemetery, Emporium.
