Falcon, Raider boys meet; who will remain unbeaten?

Northern Tier League coleaders Coudersport and Cameron County were meeting in an important game at Emporium Friday night as this edition went to press. Each team carried a 3-0 record into the game.

Junior Jordan Crane scored 26 points to lead Cameron County (8-3) to a 67-46 win at Northern Potter (4-9) on Tuesday. Dan Sullivan added 13 points and Charlie Holjencin 12 for the Raiders.

Blair Heimel scored 22 points and John Hau 21 to lead Coudersport (9-1) to an 81-42 win over Oswayo Valley (5-7). That duo also combined for 18 rebounds and 11 blocked shots. Colton Corey scored 13 points and handed out seven assists. Logan Hathaway chipped in with 10 points.

Austin hung close to Otto- Eldred (4-9) before fading late in a 52-39 setback. Tim Cheplic and Jimmy Earle each scored 12 points for the Panthers.

Smethport stayed a game back of the co-leaders with a 62-33 win at Port Allegany.

League Standings

Cameron County 3-0, Coudersport 3-0, Smethport 2-1, Otto-Eldred 2-1, Northern Potter 1-2, Port Allegany 1-2, Austin 0- 3, Oswayo Valley 0-3.

Friday: Coudersport at Cameron County, Northern Potter at Austin, Otto-Eldred at Smethport, Port Allegany at Oswayo Valley.

Saturday: Troy at Coudersport (non-league)

Next Tuesday: Northern Potter at Coudersport, Austin at Cameron County, Oswayo Valley at Smethport, Port Allegany at Otto-Eldred.
