Brown starring for UPB women's hoops

A standout player on local high school basketball courts is now a key member of the women's hoops team at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

Coudersport's Tai Brown helped the Panthers rattle off four straight wins before Christmas. Brown scored 33 points and 18 rebounds in the first two games after the break.

Brown, a 5-11 junior, leads the Panthers in scoring (16.7 ppg) and rebounds (9.1 rpg). She was recently named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference player of the week. Pitt-Bradford is 4-2 in AMCC play.
