Harry Marshall
Harry E. Marshall, 76, of Rich Valley Road, Emporium, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, in his home.
Born Jan. 13, 1931, in Morris, he was the son of Clair and Shirley Marshall.
In 1955 in Renovo, he married Phyllis J. Hibbler, who survives.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. Coming from Buffalo, N.Y., Mr. Marshall was a resident of Emporium since 1961. He was employed as a construction worker and retired in 1993.
Mr. Marshall was a member of the Abundant Life Tabernacle in Emporium and Laborers International Union of North America.
Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, Bryon D. Marshall of Emporium; two daughters, Cheryl A. Marshall and Melissa R. Marshall, both of Emporium; one brother, Allen Marshall of Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, Jeanette Graham of Buffalo and Verla Gavlock of Emporium, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Mark Marshall in 1979.
Friends will be received Friday, Jan. 19 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Coppersmith- Condon Funeral Home, Emporium, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. James Eastman, pastor of the Abundant Life Tabernacle, officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.
Burial will be in Newton Cemetery, Emporium.
