Burglary, assault among cases heard in Potter County Court

Two Potter County residents will be sentenced on Feb. 21 after pleading guilty in separate appearances last week in the Court of Common Pleas.

Victor Vallejo, 26, of Austin pleaded guilty to seven counts of burglary and criminal conspiracy for incidents taking place between March 15 and May 17, 2006. Vallejo admitted his involvement in burglaries at several camps and the Austin Game Room.

Manuel Senna, 44, of Coudersport pleaded guilty to making terroristic threats for an incident taking place last Aug. 21 in Coudersport.

A Pittsburgh man charged with raping a Coudersport woman earlier this month has waived his case into Potter County court and remains free after posting $10,000 bail. Mark Korabelnikov, 22, is charged with rape, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, and indecent assault for the attack on an 18-year-old victim in a house on North Main Street during the early morning hours of Jan. 2

Meanwhile, Timothy Butler, 46, of Austin was sentenced to two concurrent jail terms of 11 1/2 to 23 1/2 months for statutory sexual assault and indecent assault. Butler was also ordered to spend two years on probation, pay a $1,000 fine, pay monthly supervision and administrative fees, and perform 25 hours of community service.

Bryan Daniels, 28, of Coudersport was sentenced to a jail term of 24-60 months for stalking, corruption of minors and disorderly conduct.

Jesse Williams, 23, of Troopersburg, N.Y., was ordered to spend 10 months on probation and to pay court and prosecution costs and restitution. He was found in possession of stolen fire extinguishers, mailboxes and road signs from various locations around Potter County.

Joseph Cumby Jr., 19, of Coudersport was sentenced to 15 days to 18 months for theft and ordered to pay a $100 fine plus perform 50 hours of community service. He was accused of stealing signs from businesses and churches in Coudersport last April. Cumby was also sentenced to two days to six months, concurrent with his other sentence, for driving under the influence of alcohol, stemming from an incident that occurred last Feb. 18 in Coudersport.

Several defendants charged with driving under the influence of alcohol were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program. They were: Matthew Mills, 44, of Renovo, who was apprehended Sept. 3 in Ulysses Township; Michael Schock, 32, of Lancaster, arrested over the Independence Day weekend in Galeton; and Jason George, 30, of Altoona, pulled over on Sept. 29 in Homer Township. Each was ordered to pay court costs and ARD fees, attend Alcohol Safe Driving School, meet with the Victim Impact Panel and perform 25 hours of community service.
