Members of the 2006 Cameron County Sr. Little League All-Star Team were honored by Emporium Rotary Club at this week's meeting. Long-time local baseball enthusiast and umpire Glen Fiebig, shown with the state runner-up team, introduced each player with words of praise. One ingredient in the team's success was the genuine friendships among the players, Fiebig said. High School Principal Myron Crumrine echoed those remarks, complimenting team members for their behavior and leadership in the school. Rotary made a cash donation to help defray the cost of jackets for each team member. Players attending the meeting included: Cameron Clingan, Jordan Crane, Josh Strahl, Jordan Garrigan, Garrett Hornung, David Lyon, Abram Zoschg, Matt Kriner, Sean McManigle, Donald Catalone, Jarek Holjencin and Ryan Neyman. Cory Reed and Mike Baker were unavailable. Coaches Dave Lyon and Jamer Cooney were also recognized. Robin Crane was unable to attend.
