Skate park meeting slated

Supporters of establishing a skate park in Emporium will hold a public meeting at 2:00 p.m. next Saturday, Feb. 10, at Memorial Hall.

Citizens are needed to help conduct surveys and decide how to raise funds for the park. Local skateboarders and their supporters met with Emporium Borough Council recently and received general support for their mission.

Susie Gribble, spokesperson for the group, said she is hoping for a broad cross-section of the community at next weekend's meeting. She is available to answer questions at 486-0373.
