Driftwood Water Rates Increase
      Driftwood Water Company has raised its rates, effective this year, as a result of action taken by Driftwood Borough Council. Business properties are now paying a flat $22.50 per month. The monthly rate for residents and seasonal residents is now $15, up from $10 for the past several years.

Conservation Corps plan local projects
      Members of the Pa. Conservation Corps have arrived in Cameron County to work on trails, forest plantings and other projects over the next six months. The Pa. Bureau of Forestry is coordinating the PCC activities. The crew will be based out of the Sizerville Maintenance Complex at Sylvan Heights.

      Bucktail Volunteer Fire Department of Driftwood completed its merger with the Sinnemahoning Volunteer Fire Department last month with an election of officers. The new SVFD officer slate includes volunteers from the former Driftwood department. Danny Ball was elected fire chief.
