Sportsmen plan coyote hunt

Sinnemahoning Sportsmen's Assn. (SSA) will hold its popular Coyote Hunt in an eightcounty area Feb. 16-18.

Larry Erickson, who is chairing the event for SSA, suggests that participants register early to avoid the rush.

Coyotes can be taken by preregistered hunters in Potter, Cameron, McKean, Elk, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton and Tioga counties. Registration is open at the clubhouse in Sinnemahoning this Saturday and against next Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Entry fee is $6.00.

Participants must be SSA members. Membership information is available by calling 546-2835 or visiting the club's website, www.sinnsports.com. Applications are also available at Perry's Country Store in Austin.

St. Marys Sportsmen's Club is holding a Coyote Hunt over the same weekend, in cooperation the Mosquito Creek and Sigel clubs. Applications are available at Smith's Sports Store and Ammo and Arms in St. Marys.
