Cameron County Emergency Medical Services sponsored an intense trauma class for 20 emergency responders from Emporium, Sinnemahoning, Bradford, St. Marys and Johnsonburg. Trauma is the leading cause of death for Americans under the age of 44. Early recognition, rapid treatment and transportation are crucial to the survival of these patients. Attending the training session were: Robert Aversa, Judy Ball, Andy Leslie, Misty K. Lupro, Heather Baney, Jeff Kloss, Laura Narby, Alexis Narby, Tonya Rutz, Tom Barton, Terri Housler, Butch Housler, Marty Kim, Albert A. Aikens, Joseph A. Krieg Jr., George Jones, Roger Neyman, John C. Major, Jody R. Reid and Kurt D.Whiting. Instructors were Thomas A. Tomaski, Steve Hale, Tonyia Wennin, Nicole Meredith, Thor Lehman and Bob McKay.
